Egg Competition
Anyone is welcome to enter. Exhibitors in the egg competition are not required to enter birds in the show. There is an entry fee of $4 for the each exhibitor’s first entry and $3 for each additional entry made by the exhibitor. Fees for this competition will be collected the day of the show but please have exact change. No prior registration required. This competition will be judged by a UFPA member(s).

Rules
- One entry consist of a group of 3 eggs.
- Entries shall note the breed of eggs, non standard (not a breed recognized by APA), mix, or unknown ancestry
- Entries will be judged within classes - white, brown, and other color (speckled or mottled will be entered by background color)
Judging Criteria
- Shell Color: Is the color consistent throughout the entry?
- Shape: Are they too elongated, too small, too rounded?
- Uniformity: How closely do the eggs match each other in size and weight?
Painted Egg Competition
- 1 egg consists of one entry. Multiple entries accepted.
- Open and Junior
- Egg must be hard boiled or blown.
- Egg is painted or inked. NO adornment or decorations added.
- Some type of upright support recommended.
- Egg must be painted/inked by exhibitor.
Decorated Egg Completion
- 1 egg consists of one entry. Multiple entries accepted.
- Open and Junior
- Egg must be hard boiled or blown.
- Egg is to be adorned or decorated, but may have paint added.
- Outline of egg must be recognizable.
- Egg decoration must be created by the exhibitor.
